The company in addition to-measurement was born in 1996, from the meeting between Robin Joly (musician and dancer resulting from the academies)
and Laurent Tixier (musician and singer trained by the tradition).
It very quickly will be packed and given rise to a grouping of individual who makes repertory of music
dance the Rebirth, his fields of research and expressions. Quite naturally one thus finds there dancers,
musicians, researchers, violin makers, collectors and professors who forms a true cultural dynamics.
Because with beyond same of the simple idea of group of music, "la compagnie outre-mesure"
represents a concept gathering in its centre, an association, a whole of oboe, an Europeen festival,
an Academy of summer, a musical and choreographic spectacle, conferences, training courses of dances and
musics, balls and Renaissance concerts.
